Rolex Oyster Cosmograph 6263 Paul Newman "Panda" Maurice Ltd.

Today was a really interesting day of appraisals at HQ , starting with a very nice Rolex Explorer 1016 with a evenly color Tropical Gilt Dial a truly beautiful example....
The other and more interesting watch was this Rolex Oyster Cosmograph Circa 1971 with a Paul Newman Dial off white or cream color with black subsidiary dials thus making it a so called "Panda" version.
This example is a one owner watch and has not been restored, the all round condition of the watch was truly amazing for the age and has the original papers and bill of sale....
Model 6263 with mechanical manual movement and MK1 screw down pushers. As prices of these more rare type watches are rising due to demand, we find that we are seeing a lot of interesting watches come through the door. Our expertise in the field of vintage watches lets us confidently appraise, and authenticate watches of all makes and models.

A tribute to the year of the foundation of the House of Cartier by Louis Cartier, the Python Limited Edition is inspired by a Cartier cigarette box from the 1930’s and by the mysterious and fascinating skin of its namesake. The décor is created by contrasting inlaid black lacquer with gold plated ribs and requires a long and delicate process of engraving, lacquering and polishing.
This spectacular Limited Edition is instantly recognizable by the emblematic hallmarks of the Louis Cartier line, including the onyx cabochon on the tip, the signature on the cap ring, and the C de Cartier on the clip.
