Today's Featured Swap - Sterling Silver Items = Two Rings

Today brought in some nice Antique English Sterling Silver items which we took in on trade for two very nice ladies rings , Emerald and diamonds and a Ruby and diamond ring , both are 14kt gold . The value of this trade would be approx. $800  either in the scrap value of the silver or the break up value of the two rings. 
We now have another satisfied customer who got rid of a bunch of silver and walked out with two lovely rings, no more having to clean that silver !!!

A FINE LOOKING TIMEPIECE, OMEGA DeVille GMT

This is one of my favourite's , very simple and easy to wear on any day... this heavy 18kt gold case has a nice 50's look and is on leather with a gold deployant buckle.
The dial is magnificent in a dark royal blue with gold markers, this is the GMT model with Co-Axial Escapement

What Makes This Watch So Special ?

The movements on some of the older model Rolex watches seem to be far superior to the more modern Rolex watches.
It is a fact that some movements will run longer than others and will not need repair, even though they were produced at almost the same time.
The Rolex GMT Master 1675 seen below, produced in the 60's does not miss a beat... keeps perfect time and holds almost a 26hr wind... Amazing !!

Just in .. this is a fine example of a very rare Rolex GMT Master , produced in small numbers with this transitional case. Matt Brown Nipple Dial with Oyster-perpetual , Hyphen dial. These watches were produced between 1960 - 1965
